Descripción del puesto: Como SLPA bilingüe, jugarás un papel vital en apoyar a nuestro Patólogo del Habla y el Lenguaje (SLP) al proporcionar servicios excepcionales de evaluación y terapia a los niños en nuestros programas de Intervención Temprana y Primaria. Esta posición ofrece flexibilidad en cuanto a las horas y los días trabajados, permitiendo opciones tanto a tiempo parcial como a tiempo completo.
Responsabilidades:
- Colaborar con el SLP para ayudar en la evaluación de los niños, especialmente en el área de evaluación bilingüe.
- Brindar apoyo en sesiones de terapia, enfocándose en casos de Intervención Temprana y potencialmente en la Primaria.
- Mantener una documentación precisa y reportes de progreso.
- Fomentar un ambiente positivo e inclusivo para los estudiantes, asegurando su comodidad y participación durante las sesiones de terapia.
- Cumplir con los estándares profesionales y pautas éticas.
Requisitos:
- Certificación válida como Asistente de Patología del Habla y el Lenguaje (SLPA).
- Es esencial tener fluidez tanto en inglés como en español.
- Experiencia previa trabajando con niños, preferiblemente en un entorno educativo o clínico.
- Habilidades de comunicación y habilidades interpersonales sólidas.
- Capacidad para trabajar de manera efectiva como parte de un equipo.
- Flexibilidad para trabajar en múltiples sitios escolares, si es necesario.
