About the Position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team near Pecan Grove, TX! This exciting role allows you to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, assisting in the development of critical speech and language skills that will set them up for success in the classroom and in life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the SLP.
- Support students in improving their speech, language, and communication skills.
- Track and document student progress, providing updates to the supervising SLP.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student success.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not required.
