School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Belfast, ME
Employment Type: Full Time (32 hours per week)
Grade Levels: K-12th grade (serving elementary, middle, and high school)
Are you passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in communication and language skills? We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Belfast, ME. As an SLP, you will be working across three school locations, providing support to a diverse range of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid Maine SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with school-aged children preferred but not required.
- CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates are welcome to apply.
