Job Overview:
Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working with PreK-8th grade students near Mount Pleasant, WI. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You'll collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop individualized treatment plans that help students improve their academic and social communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in PreK-8th grade students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Provide direct therapy services that target a range of speech and language skills.
- Document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student learning goals.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines for speech therapy services in schools.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Wisconsin SLP licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
- Experience working with PreK-8th grade students preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
