Job Description: Soliant is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Sacramento, CA. As an SLPA, you will work collaboratively with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to support students' communication needs. This is a contract position offering weekly paychecks, comprehensive benefits through United Healthcare, and dedicated support from a personal recruiter throughout your contract.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- California SLPA License.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Familiarity with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and special education processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
State-Specific Requirements: California requires SLPA candidates to hold a valid SLPA license issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
