Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) for a school-based position in New York. Whether you are an experienced SLP or a Clinical Fellow eager to gain hands-on experience, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication challenges.
- Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
- Support students in achieving their communication goals in a K-12 school setting.
Requirements:
Education & Certification:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active New York SLP License issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred) or eligibility to complete a Clinical Fellowship (CF).
Experience & Skills:
- Prior experience in pediatrics or school-based settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
