Responsibilities:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address clients' communication goals
- Providing therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and swallowing function
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including teachers, physicians, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records of therapy interventions
Requirements for SLP:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Requirements for SLPA:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist Assistant program
- Valid SLPA license or certification in the state of California
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP
