Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 24/25 School Year
Hours: Full Time
Description: We're actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Wilmington, DE for the 24/25 school year. This full-time position includes potential Extended School Year (ESY) services. You'll be working with a K-12 high-needs school population, mainly students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with moderate to severe needs. Our school provides excellent support, including contractor involvement in Professional Development. Please note, candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. Virtual therapy is not available due to high caseload needs.
Requirements:
- Open to candidates with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience or interest in working with students with ASD
- Full-time availability for on-site work
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students with moderate to severe needs
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans
- Collaborate with school staff and contractors to support student progress
- Participate actively in Professional Development opportunities
Note: This position offers substantial school support and may require lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. Virtual therapy is not available due to high caseload needs.
