Michigan Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for 24/25 School Year
Soliant seeks a dedicated School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapy services to students within a school environment. This full-time contract position is conveniently situated near Melvindale, MI, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in students' lives. Position Details:
- Location: Melvindale, MI Area
- Duration: Immediate start to end of school year
- Caseload: 40-60 students
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Conducting IEP Meetings
- Providing Direct Therapy Services
Requirements:
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Creating personalized treatment plans based on assessments and patient objectives.
- Educating and involving families and caregivers in therapy, equipping them with communication support strategies.
