In this role, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals with communication challenges reach their full potential. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver engaging therapy sessions to address a variety of speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs/treatment goals (specify depending on the setting).
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and/or small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, medical professionals, and families to ensure a cohesive and successful treatment approach.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report on outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited university.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for ASHA certification (CF-SLP).
- Virginia state licensure (if applicable).
- Minimum of [desired experience] years of experience working with [target population] in a [school setting/clinical setting].
- Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment, intervention, and program development.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
