Position Overview: The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders. The role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet each student's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- California state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
