Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for working with preschool populations! Soliant is working with an Early Childhood program in Howell, MI, and is seeking a contract provider for the upcoming school year.
Applicants will be seeing children who are in Center-based programs, as well as Head Start or Great Start preschool locations.
Primary responsibilities as follows:
- Assess children referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans or individual family service plans for children in Special Education, and present them to parents and education staff
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all children on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a children’s progress to parents.
- Develop a therapy schedule for children in various classrooms or settings
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

- Up-to-date knowledge of Michigan Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings
- Professionalism and accountability
Requirements:
- Michigan SLP license
