Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) St. Louis, Missouri
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and evaluations.
- Implement therapy plans developed by licensed SLPs to address speech and language difficulties.
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP to improve communication skills.
- Provide support and encouragement to clients during therapy sessions.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive therapy environment.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Missouri.
- Experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care to clients.
