Fully Remote School Social Worker (SSW) Opening - Illinois Licenses Required - 24/25 School Year

We are partnering with a school in the state of Illinois seeking a kind and compassionate School Social Worker (SSW) to join our Special Education team for the full 2024-2025 school year. Our School Social Worker will be instrumental in providing essential support to students facing social, emotional, economic, and environmental challenges. By collaborating with students, families, teachers, and other school staff, the School Social Worker will play a critical role in enhancing students' educational performance and overall well-being.
Requirements:
- Must have a Masters Degree in Social Work
- Must have the Illinois PEL
- Must have an active School Social Work License for the state of Illinois, and state of residency, if applicable
Position Details:
- 08/21/2024 - 06/02/2025
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Will also consider part-time applicants!
- Caseload: K - 12th grade students, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process.
- Pay Range: $25 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience
General Responsibilities:
- Assess the social and emotional needs of students and develop intervention strategies to address these needs.
- Provide direct support services through counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
- Serve as a liaison between the school and external agencies, facilitating access to community resources for students and families.
Benefits:
- 1099-contractor position
- Hourly pay rate based upon previous experience, and will be paid on a weekly basis
