Position Overview: Fully Remote Speech Language Pathologist
Responsibilities:
- Assessment Excellence: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and academic needs.
- Safe Space: Develop a personalized, safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for students on caseload.
- Academic Achievement: Promote student motivation and engagement.
- Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor students' progress and adjust assessments and interventions as necessary.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate closely with school teams, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessment and evaluation results.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech language pathology.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Hold a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess a valid state licensure (PA SLP-CCC).
- Experience Matters: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, with expertise in assessments, evaluations, and special education eligibility.
- Passion for Helping Others: Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping students overcome speech and academic challenges.
- Tech Savvy: Be comfortable working remotely and have access to reliable internet and necessary computer equipment.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
