Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for School-Based Position - San Antonio, TX
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders, under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in the assessment of students’ communication skills and development
- Implement therapy plans and interventions designed by the supervising SLP
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students’ communication needs
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and other collaborative activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus
