Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in New Castle, KY
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Speech Language Pathologist to fill a full-time position in New Castle, KY. This role is perfect for a compassionate professional eager to make a meaningful difference in a school environment by helping students enhance their communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEP) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet educational goals.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a closely related field.
- Valid Kentucky state licensure as an SLP.
- Possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively manage caseloads and engage with the school community.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
