Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Gonzales, CA
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to fill a full-time position in Gonzales, CA. This role is perfect for an SLP who is passionate about working in a school setting, helping students enhance their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring personalized and effective interventions.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing updates and insights to educators and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of student assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create the most effective learning environment for students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively within a team.
- Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
