Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Fairfield, CA
Job Description: We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist in Fairfield, CA. This position is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about working in a school setting and committed to enhancing the communication abilities and academic success of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring effective and personalized interventions.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt therapy strategies as necessary to meet educational goals.
- Collaborate with school staff to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
