Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to incorporate speech therapy techniques into daily activities and routines.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide insights related to speech and language therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
