Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Next School Year in Kansas City
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position in the Kansas City, KS area, serving school-based settings. Candidates must meet all local and state regulations, hold a master's degree in SLP or Communication Disorders, and possess ASHA CCC's. Preferred qualifications include experience working with special education students and families.
Job Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and monitor progress toward communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in various settings, including 1:1, group, and classroom environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and session notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
