Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist or Assistant (SLP/SLPA) Needed in Summerdale, PA
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist or Assistant (SLP/SLPA) to join our team in Summerdale, PA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional interested in working in a dynamic school setting, providing crucial speech therapy to enhance student communication and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP (for SLPAs).
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate speech therapy with students’ overall educational programs.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- For SLPs: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current Pennsylvania state license.
- For SLPAs: Associate degree or certification in an accredited SLPA program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred for SLPs.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
