Job Description: Exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Brownsboro, TX. This position is ideal for a professional eager to work in a dynamic school environment, providing essential speech therapy services to students. The successful candidate will be involved in developing and administering comprehensive treatment plans that address speech and language challenges, enhancing student communication skills and academic performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Implement therapy programs tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate speech therapy with student learning activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- For SLP: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current Texas SLP license; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
- For SLPA: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, along with required state certification/licensure.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children and school staff.
