We are reviewing applications this week for a full-time School Speech-Language Pathologist. In addition to solid clinical skills and great organization, a good candidate is one who is ready to problem-solve, and who works well in a team environment. Communication skills are essential, not only with co-workers, but also with students' caregivers.
Additional details below:
- Full-time (approx. 37.5 hours per week)
- Work with elementary school students
- Additional details of student needs and building coverage will be discussed during phone interview
In order to offer therapy in Illinois public schools, applicants would need to be eligible for a speech-language pathology license from the state, in addition to a teacher certificate (the Professional Educator's License). Applicants with the relevant licensure in hand are advised to apply.
