Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking for a rewarding opportunity to work with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade? We are currently seeking a full-time SLPA to join our team in Roseville, CA. This position offers the chance to make a positive impact on the communication skills and academic success of students.
Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Roseville, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to address students' communication goals.
- Assist with assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Completion of an SLPA program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
