- Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in local and state regulations governing speech-language therapy services in schools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders, crafting tailored treatment plans.
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on improving communication skills and enhancing participation in school activities.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and team members to ensure students' academic and communication success.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings as necessary.
