Full time SLP assignment available - K-12th grades - 24/25 school year contract
We're working with a nearby school that's looking for a SLP for a contract assignment for the 24/25 school year. This position will primarily serve K-12th grade students in a school-based setting, including those in self-contained, resource, and mild-severe cases.
As the SLP, you will be responsible for conducting assessments to identify communication disorders and developing personalized treatment plans for individual and group therapy sessions. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure each student's needs are met, and maintain detailed records of student progress to track success and make necessary adjustments. Additionally, you will provide consultation and support to school staff on communication-related issues.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current Nevada licensure or eligibility to obtain the SLP NV license. Experience working with K-12th grade students with communication disorders is highly preferred, as well as an understanding of evidence-based practices in a school-based setting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
