Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Angleton, TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and supporting their communication needs within an educational environment. This is a full-time position, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Texas state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
