Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team in Natchitoches, LA. This full-time position focuses on providing speech therapy and communication solutions to pediatric cases within a supportive school environment. Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with educational staff and other health care professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Implement therapy interventions effectively, adjusting strategies according to student progress.
- Document and report on treatment plans and progress.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with the latest research and techniques in speech pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid state license in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
