Job Description:
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll play a vital role in assessing and addressing speech and language disorders in students. Collaborating with educators and families, you'll create individualized plans to help students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate speech goals into the educational curriculum.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Arizona.
- Experience working with school-aged children with diverse communication needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
