Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our preschool evaluation team with potential opportunities for elementary evaluations. The successful candidate will possess proficiency in both English and Spanish languages and must be licensed in the state of Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of preschool-aged children, assessing speech and language development in both English and Spanish.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide therapy services to children with speech and language disorders, targeting areas of need identified during evaluation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP planning sessions, and other collaborative activities to support student success.
- Stay informed about best practices, current research, and advances in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of state regulations and compliance requirements for speech-language pathology services.
