Sunbelt is assisting a local School District in the Mt Prospect, Illinois Area that is looking for Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist. These Full-Time SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) jobs would work with Grades K-12th. Caseloads for the SLP Job near Mt Prospect, Illinois would include average sizes and support is given, specific details can be discussed. Candidates must have experience with kids to be considered.
Job Details:
- Full-Time (35 Hours per week)
- M-F 8:15am - 3:45pm
- Early Childhood
- Start Date: 1/9/24
- End Date: 6/26/24
- Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist to provide push-in services at one building to two early childhood classrooms. Experience with the use of low-tech Augmentative Communication supports (e.g. core board) is preferred. SLP will be a member of an educational team including building administration, student service coordinator, early childhood teachers, speech language pathologists, psychologist, social worker, occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and teaching assistants. SLP will be responsible for evaluating students to determine special education eligibility, developing and updating Individual Education Plans, developing and implementing lesson plans to address the IEP goals, supporting students through the MTSS/RTI process, collaborating with educational team to ensure accommodations are provided, developing and providing guidance to Teaching Assistants, and providing home/school communication. SLP will be an active participant in team meetings, annual reviews and evaluation meetings. Many team members to provide support and guidance as needed.
