Job Description: We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a flexible role in Elk Grove, CA, with options for full-time or part-time employment. Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring effective support and intervention.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and adapt plans as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome.
