Flexible Full-Time/Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist Position in Elk Grove, CA

Job Description: We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a flexible role in Elk Grove, CA, with options for full-time or part-time employment. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs who are dedicated to providing exceptional speech therapy services in a supportive school setting and looking for work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring effective support and intervention.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and adapt plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid California SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome.
