Blazerjobs is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for the Extended School Year program at a school in Natchitoches, Louisiana. This is a part-time position from June 3, 2024, to June 28, 2024, with hours scheduled for Monday through Thursday. The SLP will work onsite at the school and provide services to preschool-aged children, primarily 3-4 year olds.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities of preschool-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to children in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and progress during the Extended School Year program.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a school or early intervention setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with young children and their families.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of children in the Extended School Year program.
Schedule:
- Part-time hours, Monday through Thursday (specific hours to be determined)

- Preschool-aged children, primarily 3-4 year olds
