Full-Time Physical Therapy Specialist
Location: Marlborough, MA
Duration: Academic Year 2024-2025
Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professionals.
- Ideally, 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatric or school-based settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose students' physical therapy needs.
- Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and in alignment with students' Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students aged 3 to 22, addressing a wide range of physical challenges and abilities.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative techniques to optimize student engagement and progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork, adhering to state and federal regulations.
