Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 24/25 School Year
Hours: Full Time
Description: We're currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Wilmington, DE for the 24/25 school year. This full-time position offers the potential for Extended School Year (ESY) services. The role involves working with a K-12 high-needs school population, focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The caseload comprises moderate to severe needs. We provide a supportive environment within the school, including contractors who join staff for Professional Development. Please note, candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. This position does not involve virtual therapy due to the high needs on the caseload.
Requirements:
- Open to candidates with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience or interest in working with students with ASD
- Full-time on-site availability
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students with moderate to severe needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with school staff and contractors to support student progress
- Participate actively in Professional Development opportunities
