Calling on SLPs with a sense of adventure! Soliant is working with a school in rural, eastern Washington, and we are accepting applications for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position for the next school year.
This is a community with a significant proportion of students whose native language is Spanish; bilingual SLPAs are present to assist with translation. We seek applicants whose passion is working with students in underserved communities.
Additional details:
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Caseloads trend high, approximately 55-65 students
- Work with K-21 populations
- In addition to standard duties of direct services, evaluations, report writing, and IEP meetings, AAC experience is a big help
In addition to performance of the above duties, applicants who demonstrate the following skills can set themselves apart:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Collaborate and communicate with co-workers
- Organize processes for classroom instruction and for paperwork relating to the provision of speech and language services
