Early Intervention and Preschool SLP, Scranton PA
Scranton, PA
Soliant is working with a school in the area of Scranton, PA to place a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract going through the school year and into the summer.
Details below:
- Caseload consists of Early Intervention patients, as well as preschoolers
- Weekly time commitment of 28 hours
- Coverage of multiple buildings needed
Day-to-day duties include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language development; diagnosing students with speech/language impediments
- Developing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals in consultation with district SLPs
- Providing speech-language therapy, documenting student progress, and completing paperwork pertinent to the provision of services, or to Medicaid billing
- Participating in IEP meetings, and communicating speech and language goals to student care-givers
Additional details relating to the caseload, and building assignments, will be discussed during an interview with the administrators.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Pennsylvania SLP license
- Clearance of background checks, TB tests mandated by Pennsylvania Department of Education
