Full-Time Physical Therapist
Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Duration: 2024-2025 School Year
Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to students within the assigned caseload.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs and goals outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic, functional, and developmental progress.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' eligibility for services and to monitor their progress over time.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Additional Information:
- Onsite services only.
- Applicants must hold a valid Virginia state license as a Physical Therapist.
Requirements:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be available to work full-time and onsite throughout the duration of the school year.
Schedule:
- Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Aligned with the school district's academic calendar
