Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in Coon Rapids, MN, and who enjoy working in an education setting! Soliant is working with a large, suburban school district and is seeking a contract provider for this school year.
SLP-CCC candidates are preferred; Clinical Fellows will be supervised by an Agency appointed Clinical Fellowship mentor.
Primary responsibilities as follows:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
Applicants will either be assigned to a K-5 caseload, or to a Middle and High school caseload. Elementary school assignments typically include about 45-55 students, while secondary age groups will have caseloads of 55 to 60, due to a portion of students being on consult only.

- Up-to-date knowledge of Minnesota Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings

Requirements:
- Minnesota SLP license from the Department of Health
- PELSB license (Tier 2, 3 or 4)
