Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists seeking an opportunity to help children in education settings!
Soliant has partnered with a moderately sized school district in the Cloverleaf neighborhood in Houston, TX, and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services for school-aged students. Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Participate in ARD (Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meeting to determine student eligibility
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
