As a Speech Language Pathologist in a school district, you will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to identify and address students' communication needs through individualized treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and make a positive impact on their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop personalized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and creative resources.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to student success.
- Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as an SLP in the state of CO (or eligible for licensure).
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
