We are actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants for full-time positions within school districts in the Merced, California area for the upcoming school year. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- State certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech Language Pathologists in assessing students’ communication skills.
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities as required.
