Are you an experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a school-based setting? Blazer Jobs is actively seeking dedicated professionals to fill contract roles in Oakland, CA
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Speech Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans for students with communication disorders
- Provide direct support to students during therapy sessions, under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Assist with conducting assessments and screenings to identify students' communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Requirements:
- State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State Teaching License
- Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred
- Compliance with all local and state regulations and requirements
