Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Waynesboro, VA area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Conducting direct therapy sessions to address speech and language goals for students
- Performing assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support students' communication skills
Requirements:
- Active Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Preferred: Previous experience in school-based settings
- Ability to work with students across various age groups, from elementary, middle or high school
