About Jeffco Public Schools:
Jeffco Public Schools, located in the beautiful area west of Denver, is currently seeking multiple Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2024-2025 school year. We are a large and diverse school district committed to providing quality education and support to our students. We are looking for dedicated SLPs to join our team in various locations including Lakewood, Golden, Wheatridge, and Littleton.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking candidates for six full-time Speech-Language Pathologist positions in our central and south areas. The SLPs will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, providing direct speech and language services to students, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Colorado state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Job Details:
- Full-Time for the 2024-2025 school year
- Six openings in central (Lakewood, Golden, Wheatridge) and south (Littleton) areas
- No assistants
Requirements:
- Full-time availability
- Must hold a valid Colorado state SLP license or be eligible for licensure
