Position Details:
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - CCC or CFY
- Location: Danville, VA
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: June 2025
- Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Onsite Only: Candidates must be available to work onsite at Danville City Public Schools
- Caseload: To be determined based on district needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional growth
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and IEP goals
