Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), located in Los Angeles, CA, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with our students across 2-3 schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District. The SLP will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, providing direct speech and language services to students, and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment and make a meaningful impact on our students' communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech and language services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant school experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility in location and willingness to itinerate between 2-3 schools
Requirements:
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week)
- Must not be a new grad
- Must not interview/apply directly or through another agency
