Job Details:
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Interviews: ASAP for the 2024-2025 school year
- Location: Jefferson, SC (Travel between two schools within a 5-mile radius)
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: June 2025
- Hours: Full-Time (37.50 - 40.00 hours per week)
- Caseload: Approximately 50 students total, predominantly elementary with some middle school
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
