Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the full school year. The SLP will work in-person with an early needs caseload, providing speech and language therapy services to students. This is a full-time position that requires an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in young students
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Providing direct therapy services to students
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
- Completing required paperwork in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Washington state licensure
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
